Q. Does the hotel offer a local Shuttle and/or transportation to the airport?
A.We do not have a hotel shuttle but we can assist in arranging transportation and can also refer a company for your transportation needs.

Q. Can I check in early or check out late
A. Early check-ins and late check-outs are available pending availability

Q. Are there refrigerators in the guest rooms?
A. We have refrigerators in all of our suites and also have some available upon request (first come first serve basis).

Q.  Is the hotel pet friendly?
A.  We are a pet friendly hotel but only allow service animals. 

Q.  Are there parking fees?
A. Daily Attendee Self-Parking is $1.50 per hour - after 5 hours daily rate applies. Overnight parking is $12. Valet parking is $20. Bus parking is $45.

Q. Is breakfast included with my nightly booking?
A. Breakfast is not included however we offer a very nice breakfast buffet each day. Additionally, we offer an attractive Bed & Breakfast special.

Q. Can I make a breakfast reservation for 20?
A. Yes! Please call the main hotel line at 904-398-8800 and ask to be transferred to St. John's Provision Company. 

Q.  What are the hours of the bar, restaurant, and room service?
A. 

  • Breakfast: 6:00 am - 10:00 am Mon-Fri, 6:00 am -11:00 am Sat & Sun
  • Lunch: 11:00 am - 2:00 pm in the restaurant (available in the lounge until 5:00 pm)
  • Dinner: 5:00 pm - 11:00 pm
  • Room Service is available from 6:00 am-11 pm daily.

Q.  Can I hold my reservation with one card and pay with a different card or cash at check in?
A.  Yes, the card on file when booking is to guarantee the reservation and you will have the option to change your payment method upon arrival.

Q. What is the approximate deposit for incidents required?
A. $30 per day will be held on the credit card provided at check-in

Q.  Can you add roll-away beds for the double bedded rooms?
A. No, unfortunately we do not have any roll-away beds on property.

Q. Does the hotel have rooms on the 1st floor?
A. All guestrooms start on the 3rd floor. The 1st and 2nd floor are all meeting space.

Q. What premium TV channels does the hotel offer and is it cable or satellite?
A. DoubleTree Jacksonville features cable television in all guestrooms, inclusive of Showtime and HBO.

Q. Can I send something special to a guest there (retail amenity)?
A.  Yes, we ask that you have the full name that is listed on the reservation and the arrival date.

Q. Is there a laundromat on property?
A. We do not have an onsite laundry facility for guest use. Please ask front desk for directions to the nearest location and they will be happy to direct you.

Q. What is the St. John’s  River taxi schedule and pricing?
A. The St. John’s River Taxi is $10 per person for adults and $8 per person for children and seniors. The hours of operation are:

  • Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday 11am - 9pm
  • Friday & Saturday 11am – 11pm
  • Sunday 11am – 9pm
  • Monday: CLOSED for maintenance and Private Tours

Q. Are guest able to board the St. John's water taxi at the property?-
A. Yes, you are able to catch the water taxi on the boardwalk just behind the hotel

Q.  What is the Skyway schedule and pricing?
A. The Jacksonville Transportation Authority Skyway operates Monday-Friday and it is FREE!

Q.  Does the hotel offer wheelchairs?
A.  Yes we have wheelchairs available, please just ask the front desk.

Q. Does the hotel offer accessible accommodations such as handicap toilets and shower chairs?
A. Yes, Doubletree Jacksonville offers accessible guestrooms and we have shower chairs.

Q. Is the guest room large enough for my scooter?
A. The accessible guestroom is large enough for a scooter.

Q. Does the junior suite come with 2 double beds and the sofa bed?
A.  All junior suites have (1) king size bed and a sofa bed.

Q. Does the junior suite feature a door to close off from the living area?
A. There is no separate area that will close off the living area within the junior suite

Q.   Can you send me a credit card authorization form?
A. Yes, any staff member is able to send and assist with a credit card authorization form.

Q.  Am I able to make color copies if needed?
A. Yes color copy machines are available and color copies are $.20 per page

Q. Can we bring in our own food into any meeting space?
A. No outside food is allowed in our meeting space however we offer a variety of foods on our catering menus.

Q. Can we do a birthday party at the pool?
A. Please contact our Catering Office for more information.
